It's particularly just because those little programs they would drill into you at school when you were younger actually got to me. I thought that anyone who would do that was a fool, and I vowed to never do it. Which is why I have never gone back on that.
Also, I dislike the concept of surrendering my brain's coherence and ability to feel emotions just to instead have it replaced with artificial happiness that I never earned.
