When i was trying to watch a documentary video with my mom, after 15 minutes she started to be bored and searching shit on her phone. And when we reached 30 minutes of material, she said it was too long & she had enough.
My younger brothers are same - couldn't even watch 5 minutes of cartoon, even dynamic one, without a short glance at a phone.
And my grandfathers are watching tiktoks through fucking mainstream television.
Everyone are cooked. That's why nowadays relationship may suck, because they're like fucking tiktoks. Foids gets too fastly bored of her cucks & switches them instantly, like tiktoks.

agreed. its just instant dopamine. people are too addicted. foids can't go without instant dopamine or instant gratification lmao. its social media, that is frying foids brain, but it is an stretch to say that this is applying to every aspect of life. relationships aren't like 'tiktoks', they don't exist, stop thinking like an man, instead think like an toliet. A lot of zoomers dont even watch youtube like that anymore. I constantly see videos of people showing that their most used app is TikTok

Smartphones have fucked us in the head

The swipe generation. lol

It will only get worse in the future

people are too stupid.

Our fucking phones are poisoning our minds.

Yeah all true. I trained my mind by watching/listening to mostly long format videos on youtube.

I try my best to avoid this stuff but its so fucking hard especially as adhdcel

Same, I always try to watch hour+ long videos when possible

Tiktok is so bad content wise. Any shorts content is pure slop the algorithm is feeding you.

Because some geniuses learned, that human minds works in patterns. Especially totalitarian dictatorships mastered this - and that's why Chinese are so fucking dangerous, because they're projecting their experience in Maoist era brainwashing into the whole world via TikTok.
Totalitarists & controllers doesn't want people to think and focus their attention, because it's dangerous - someone might get a dangerous for the system idea. And if someone gets an idea, he will start to spread it, infecting other peoples. That's how protests & revolutions are being born.
So in order to maintain control, it's better to prevent an idea from even appearing. They correctly assumed, that violence & terror are only temporary solution, so it's better to drown people in dopamine and make them constantly hungry about content, which prevents them from thinking and spawning ideas.
Basically, Huxley's Brave New World is happening right now.

Yeah, for me it seems like it can literally read my mind. Whatever occupies my mind, it gets recommended without me googling it. Probably has very advanced AI that analyze everything you do on web

I've experienced this, but not on the internet, but IRL.
For example, when i was 12 - i was on my journey in a train, and nearby me was couple of hags debating about bullshit.
My mind was back then busy, and i started to think about washing machines - i don't know why, just started to think about how they works.
And then - HAGS STARTED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THEIR WASHING MACHINES xD. I was terrified AF, but it wasn't the only example.
Last time i was listening a song "Message from the stars", and just couple minutes after - i've read on other internet forum a game reccomendation by an user -

Again, i was confused how this was possible. Guess we're doing things unconsciously, and our mindset is somewhat connected to others, and just a very little impulse from somewhere, could ignite an chain reaction, which ends up in similar thoughts in a certain group of people.
I guess, algorithms engineers & psychologists learned this pattern, and implemented into an internet sphere.

Possible, one day one trouble deeply worried me, but its something that i would dare remotely to google in any way or form or say it outloud, yet both tiktok and youtube recommended me video with those thematics the next day.

Phones are a widely accepted drug

It’s funny how as soon I got a smartphone I started to develop depression not too long after. 13 years old.
