This happened to me awhile ago what should I have done

Well I wanted to bring this to light. I started to work at this place I said excuse me to this one girl, the girl all of a sudden started to call me asshole. I was like wtf.
Then I went to talk to her and asked her why I was an asshole, she said because I just am.
I didn't do nothing about it but should've I took it to labor and industry for hostile work environment to get back at her or I did was a good idea.

But why would the girl call me an asshole for no reason?
