Not really the appeal of the game for most people, I imagine. Most people probably just like the side quests, exploration, and grinding for better equipment and perks.

Yea, it's babies first RPG, the atmosphere and music carries everything and luckily the game has plenty of empty space for modding, if you have the patience. I got pretty burned out of modding during my 600h skyrim phase, there might be some good complete overhauls these days, does anyone have any suggestions?

skyrim clearly worth 40$ but you can get it of ENEBA for 20. I played skyrim and i actually loved the story s that variate depending on your decision and the many characters to chose from. It also got many mod packs that can make the game look cooler and actually more interesting
