A week ago I saw some footage of this game, ground branch. And I got curious. And since its compatible with the Steam Deck(my only real gaming pc thats is functioning) I decided to blow the 30$ on it. And heres my first impressions.
Game is basicly a milateristic version of the pre launch Ready or Not. Pick any equipment, any location, any scenario and any time of the day... But plot twist its not really much of a SWAT game. Unlike RON you can actually do stealth but doing stealth in this game is like doing it in real life. It only works in dark ass enviroments with night vision, and you gotta mind your distance of your silenced weapon from non target enemys. Thankfully you dont have such hardcore muzzle flip like in ready or not (pistols specifically) and there isnt much of a bullet sponge even on normal difficulty. But yeah stealth is gonna take more skill then a mission from Metal Gear Phantom Pain.
The mapping of the area is much better quality. Better ability to recon and plan. I wish they had a FN 509 or FNX 45 so I could pretend to use my personal 502 in the game. But I wont hold it againts them. Ill just pray it comes or a mod of it comes.
Its still in WIP so a real reveiw will problably come after the launch of the 6th elder scrolls game LOL.
One last thing and this is important. You will need to take time and optimize the game. Have a mouse and keyboard ready for setting up the controller and be sure to put the settings in medium if your gonna play it on the deck like me. Unless you prefer 20 FPS. High settings dont do to hot on the deck but medium is good. The game isnt to horny for controllers but will work better then the WIP version of ready or not. And if you got it on PC, reply to me. Id like to host a game were we team up.
