I've seen quite highly-intelligent users on these subreddits (related search queries: iq, intelligence, autism and average iq), but I would say I'm on the (below average) low IQ end — all of this, of course, given my own experience. Things would be better if having the required mental capabilities for pursuing university careers, most certainly.
not like IQ matters. I've been tested multiple times for above 120IQ. if you tell that to a normie they 1. won't believe it for whatever reason and 2. make fun of you for "boasting" about your IQ. High IQ is a pretty common autism trait (more proof that redditards aren't autistic) and people with high IQ tend to be more depressed than those with low IQ

I'm not saying that. I was just saying high IQ is a pretty common trait of autism. ofc there's autistic people with a very low IQ aswell. for example all the autists that constantly punch themselves in the face.
Are there people on the spectrum with average coefficients (SD 15)? One colleague from high school (in the past) was probably high IQ, and succeeded on the curriculum, with the highest possible scores.

Depends. It's also the internet and you should take sites like leddit with a grain of salt because if we go by posters most of them tend to be making 100k on some CS degree, while it could be possible I do not think everyone has that lifestyle they portray on leddit.

Later studies suggest autism has no correlation for higher or lower IQ.
Autism tends to lead to bouts of mental overload/disarray or hyper focus on one thing shutting the world out giving researcher levels of understanding in a subject studied.

I say the sweet spot for IQ in terms of functioning in life & being happy is about 85-90, you're just smart enough to adhere to the system but dumb enough to not have a deeper understanding of the open air prison we live in & be depressed or saddened at the state of the world & how we're powerless to change anything while also being mostly alone in terms of finding other's you can have an intelligent conversation with.
