QuantumScape is a meme stock. Back in 2020 it skyrocketed to over $100 a share but is now sitting at just $6. So many retail investors got burned and have been trying to lower their cost basis, in the hopes that the stock reaches previous heights — it won’t anytime soon. I can see the company surviving in a very protectionist environment, but it’s a 14 year old pre-revenue company, I can’t see it thriving.
