Basically, it's an outrage piece about how some transgender people in Ukraine cannot flee the country and are now in great danger and "completely alone".

"Alone", really? What about the millions of normal men between 18 and 60 who can't leave either? They don't count?

Unfuckingbelievable, really. They utterly refuse to call out the gross injustice with gender discrimination in this regard.

If there were no gender discrimination, that is in a saner World, there would be no issue with trans-gender people because everybody would be treated the same. Nobody would give a shit about your genitals, or about which of the 72 genders you identify with. Either everyone would be allowed to leave, or nobody would.
