the skibidi toilet meme being popular could unironically be evidence of genZ brainrot

back then memes were actually effortful and took time to make, and it was actually funny. it's a shame we all devolved as a species

short video format is a psychological weapon

Next year Gen Beta is gonna start being born. Their memes are going to be something else. They're going to grow up with a cucked, no-fun-allowed internet fully raped and branded by glowniggers, and they'll know nothing else besides that.

short text as well. Im noticing ghetto language has inflitrated social media and abbreviations are being more common. genZ nowadays struggle to write anything longer than 3-5 sentences in a formal way

A great example are Youtube Poops. Even if most of them were random and stupid, the amount of time it took editing them (the great ones, btw) was extensive.

wrong, gmod videos of our generations were as silly as skibidi
but even then memes were atleast somewhat coherent and funny. nowadays this is what people find funny:

yeah even with YTPs you can watch it now and still find it funny. with these modern memes you'd have to suffer a special level of brainrot to laugh at it

such cohrerent and funny (not) content for such intelligent millenials that "actually effortful and took time to make" way back in 2007 :society:

but look at things like YTPs and sparta remixes for example. the memes were not only more diverse but it's clear it had a lot more thought into it. heck even the videos you showed looks like it had more time spent to make as it atleast has a story

even older generation getting used to voice messages, soon they will forget how to use a keyboard (if not already)

Youtube Poop, is where the POOP IS!

Some of them are funny, but the problem is that it is the same laughing rick/patrick bateman with glowing eyes/jonkler/knee surgery grinch/ john pork in fortnite/moaning plankton/hawk tuah meme remixed a thousand times over by a thousand different Instagram meme accounts....to the point where each creation is indistinguishable from one another.

og skibidi has even bigger story arcs you just have nostalgia glasses on, but i agree about everything being more diverse since zoomers only have skibidi and nothing else

Bitching about “brainrot” is a normie trait
