"Moving on" as in they continue to live their lives and experience new highs and lows but you are still stagnant. I can think of a particular instance that applies to me of this happening and it has had me vexed since I heard it all those years ago. I do not wish ill fortune upon her for I love her with every fiber of my being but I also wish she really did die or remained a lowly imbecile.
