The hope of the Gospel: the world lives without hope. People are like sheep without a shepherd; they wander, exhausted and distressed, surrendering themselves to all manner of pleasures in search of something to satisfy their hunger for meaningyet in these feasts of pleasure, they find an even greater emptiness. Hope exists, and it is found in the Gospel. Christ is our hope; because He lives, we can believe in tomorrow; because He conquered death, we can look forward to a new heaven and a new earth; and because He is coming back, we have the assurance that we will be glorified with Him!
