So I've been reading some scientific studies about people hoping and fantasizing, and various outcomes of it.
Apparently hope (a future projection of a positive outcome, whatever it might be) is only good for you if all your goals can be obtained effortlessly. Say, a chad thinks to himself: "Women are easy. I just have to show up to a party and chill." Chad's hope is justified and it is enough for him.
But hope is bad for you if your goals are actually challenging to obtain. Meaning, if you think it is easy but it is not, you won't do the necessary work for the thing to come true. Say, a normie thinks that "a right girl will come to me" but he is not desperately approaching every possible woman. He will be left with nothing. Normie's hope, his "positive outlook," hurts him, actually. Under difficult circumstances, being somewhat pessimistic is being realistic, and it yields the best outcome.
But hope becomes a boon once again when the situation is not just challenging but truly hopeless in reality. Like, people in communist camps hoping for a happy afterlife. So in a hellhole type of situation, it's better to be unjustifiedly, irrationally hopeful, delusional, basically. This applies to us. Say, an incel thinking: "One day a virgin stacy will love me for who I truly am."
To sum up:
A chad should be hopeful (it is justified).
A normie should be hopeless and thus super tryhard.
An incel should be hopeful (it is delusional).
But we are super pessimistic in our outlook of life. This is unbecoming, according to science. But, get this, this is a hot take - maybe you, the user here, being pessimistic is a fakecel trait. Meaning, were you a turbo truecel like you claim, you would truly be delusional. Think of a kissless 400 lbs guy who volunteers to be a chat mod for a Twitch whore. Now he is giga delusional. He truly thinks he has a chance with her. He would never think in blackpill terms. Think about it. It is curious.
