For me that saying is:
"What they would die for, we wouldn't even live for"
That's the drastic difference between a black pillers life (pessimism, pragmatism, nihilism, etc) and a normies life (optimism, idealism, spiritualism, etc)
I think of all the things I see normies struggling over, the things my co-workers complain and stress themselves out about, and I realize how drastically different our mindsets truly are, all the things that they sacrifice so much for, risk their lives over, I don't even want to chase after these things even without sacrifice, because I see the attainment of these things AS A SACRIFICE IN OF ITSELF
Family, wife, kids - Don't want it, it seems like a lot of time, effort and monetary resources goes into it, and in modern society there are no longer any sufficient guarantees that it will be worth it in the end
For example, I once overheard co-workers jokingly talking about the tiny things they have to do to maintain a stable relationship and keep their partners in line/secure, like if they are texting and laughing, they have to be sure to hold their phone in a specific manner in order to show their significant other that they are not hiding the screen, and they often have to "jokingly" let their partners know they aren't doing so, and their partners also "jokingly" ask them sometimes "are you talking to another woman, etc"
I put "jokingly" in quotes, because they are actually quite serious, but dishonesty is just the nature of human communication, there's an inherent "euphemistic" way in which we communicate with eachother, where we have to play BS mind games all the time instead of just being honest. We all know as a collective, but never outwardly admit, that there is no security in a modern relationship, so we have to constantly "shit test" each other all the time in relationships to try and psyche each other out, all that shit just seems tiring to me

When I think about all the things normies sacrifice their time, effort, money and sanity over, it always confuses me, the stuff they kill themselves over, I would not even live for it
Normies will die for concepts like honor, nationalism, racial pride, love, etc
These concepts mean nothing to a black piller, because we can see it for what it is
I would not even put effort towards living out the concepts or embracing the values that normies would die for and I'm sure that goes for every true black piller
I'll truly never understand the incels on this site obsessed with ascension, I don't think these guys have even spent a good hour thinking it through, what ascending would really entail and how many more games they would have to play after beating that first one of "getting a GF", that's why I'll always say its better to "descend", this is another topic I have made threads on:
