If everyone measured their height in shoes, there'd be no consistency because different shoes can add different amounts of height.

If I wear my tennis shoes I'm 6'1.

If I wear my running shoes I'm 6'2.

If I wear my work boots I'm 6'3.

See how inconsistent it is?

yea i guess. i usually stick with the same pair of shoes though and in public walking around i'm a solid 6'1

i mean i'm not around ppl when i'm barefoot so dunno feels like saying i'm 6'/6'1 is accurate

Well it doesn't really matter I guess. It just goes to show that as a man nowadays, adding 2 inches to your barefoot height is pretty much mandatory due to heightflation.
