Officially been confirmed to have a 2-6 hour battery life. Switch 1 was 2-9 in later models. Switch 1 only lasts longer while playing less impressive games such as indies or retro ports. It lasts around 4 hours playing larger titles. So what this probably means is switch 2 will last around 2-3 hours on more impressive games, and 6 on less impressive ones. Worse yet, is that since switch 1 games will be emulated, the process will likely be just as consuming of the systems power and have a worse battery life while running old switch games.
