Wanna get a switch 2 so I can play Zelda and Fortnite and maybe get back into no mans sky but there's a specific issue I'm worried about happening to me, because I'm so lonely and purposeless and my quality of life is generally abysmal because of my mental issues and my autism causing severe social exclusion and thus isolation, what if once I get the console I become too immersed in the fantasy game world (especially narrative ones like Zelda) and I become like delusional or psychotic, what if I start walking around my town believing I'm link and that I'm on some kind of special mission to rid the world of imaginary beasts with my imaginary sword, what if I start believing I'm an interdimensional traveler and everyone else around me are NPC's who are only here for me like in no mans sky? A similar thing happened to that millhouse looking guy who went viral about a week ago for showing up angry at someones door
Just asking because I played an old style 2006 Zelda game on a GBA emulator on my phone and even that had me feeling a bit disconnected and weird for a while after playing it for a long time, so lord knows what a high Res and more immersive game like breath of the wild would do, especially since a switch is portable and so easy to just play for hours on end
