like season 1 was all about jonathan and nancys relationship, yet they completely throw it away for a "she needs to go off on her own" payoff, which adds absolutely nothing and just jonathan look like a cuck. and the stakes are completely meaningless, like eleven, who's the main character with superpowers, fake sacrifices herself at the end even though they already did the same thing way better in season 1. also literally nobody dies in the end, not even a character who literally gets her throat gutted, they just rely on "quirky dialogue" the whole time, i can smell the show from here
