Just finished watching The Boys finale.

That might legitimately be a top 5 worst TV show ending ever right under GOT Jesus Christ that was dog shit I’ll go more in depth in another post but the whole thing genuinely felt like a parody. The most egregious part for me is how they handled Homelander. For five seasons they’ve been blueballing us with the idea that he’s finally going to snap and go full scorched earth, just for him to kill a couple politicians and that’s it. Even in the finale, where they said all the budget went toward some giant battle/massacre, not even the Oval Office was fucking damaged and he dies in such a lame and pathetic way these writers get paid 70k a year just to pump out this ai written slop. What a waste of a once brilliant show i honestly would’ve preferred the comic ending over this shit or even the VFX leaks.

You see, this is so annoying. I don't even care about Trump or politricks anymore. It's all the same shit.

But why do they have to take real life politics into a fictional story?

That's so annoying once you see what they're trying to do.
This is why I rarely like video games with a full blown story because there is usually some kind of agenda being pushed.

It was so ass, this past few seasons could have been good but what was the point in staying true to the shitty comics? An ending where homelander actually used his power to do something instead of hyping him up for every season, giving us imaginary scenarios of what he COULD do but never what he DOES do. Could of been an actual threat considering hes the strongest but instead we never see him actually do anything. Whole show is just a waste of time and Im ashamed i expected more.
