I honestly like the concept of hardwork when its done for oneself (i hope thats a word).

Wageslaving is disgusting, but i like working hard on a skill or something in my free time and improving at it, putting hours of hard work and seeing how im getting better and better its honeatly one of my favourite copes.

But yeah, the way they frame stuff pushes all the blame and lack of success (dating or financial) on an individual which just isnt true.

Stoicism, religions in general, and even Nietzschean vitalism are all simply forms of coping. I don't really have anything against wanting to invent a philosophy to justify your miserable life, my problem is when they try to make others imitate them and think like them (or say that your way of life and ideas are superior to others)
