This thread is dedicated to those who are fearing persecution from the feds. Most of this should be water to anyone who has decent OPSEC, however, I still feel it's important for GrAYs to be aware of how to manage things.
The first thing you should be aware of is that feds probably aren't after you. The only exception to this if they genuinely think you're gonna go ER/rope soon. In that case they MIGHT take more interest.
The advice here mostly applies anywhere, but if you need more region-specific advice, @AsiaCel has a few great threads which I'm sure he'll link to if he replies to this.
In short, this is how to prevent fed visits:
- NEVER glowpost. This means: Do not talk positively about rape. Do not glorify ERs. Don't say you're gonna do illegal shit. This INCLUDES private subforums btw. (Applies less to [REDACTED], but still can.)
Saying you're gonna go ER "in video game" may help, but in the end, if they think you're serious, they will treat you like you're serious.
- Keep a close eye on any users that seem sus. ESPECIALLY SO for new users that watch you, almost immediately.
- Follow the "Basic OPSEC guide" by @ordinaryotaku in Must-Read Content. This WILL help you a lot.
- Here in the cUcK, the police don't have enough resources to investigate most of the time. The only case in the UK I've heard where an incel has been sanctioned was @Dr. Autismo, who did 7 weeks in prison for assaulting a woman. The police these days don't care about him as he knows how to keep their attention away.
"But, the feds have visited me. What do I do?"
- Know your rights. If you live in the West, ask that they show you a warrant. Most of the time they need one to search your property. Use your right to remain silent. The less you speak, the more you're protected.
- If you have it, use plausible deniability. This is something I do. I try to keep a distance between what I do IRL and what I do here. If the police catch me I have some amount of plausible deniability I can use as wiggleroom.
- Contact a lawyer/solicitor. Unless you're legally versed yourself, you're gonna need one to keep your head above the water. A good one can really fuck up normgroids.
That's about all I have to say on this issue.
