Should I learn russian?

Granted theres no fucking way Im leaving US. But slavic culture has grown on me since playing STALKER.

There are some threads on instagrahm somwhat teaching me russian but I cant remember shit since my brain is shit. Anywho Im thinking about it.

i've been giving up on Russian been 10 years every other year i come back. i never learn anything of substance. maybe i'm not trying hard enough. the language sounds pretty cool, not better than Chinese but its cool i like it.
i used to cheat on my school exams writing in Cyrillic on my table pretty nice.

i learned more when i was talking actively and having fun with a Russian person, i got more input and output than i ever could learning on my own with the resources available out there. i have to this day remembered all the good times and funny words and phrases i learned while talking with this Russian person.

unless you're pretty motivated you won't go that far, if shit doesn't click on the fly its over you will give up.
it took me 1 hour to learn this word dostroprimechatelnosti we laughed a lot during the process. i wasn't discouraged at all.

I would suggest it yes, go to your local library and borrow books from their and if an audio has a Russian dub or Russian transcript use it and or get it.

Only if you really want to you should learn it .Its not easy for English speakers but you will gain access to understanding Russian music which is very good in its own right

What a weird question. If you don't need it for anything and you're learning it for leisure, then we can't decide for you. If I was you I would say no, only because I don't find it fun or interesting at all to study languages, but some people do.

But it's really depends on your motivation and how much time you'll spend on it.

Tried it, gave up after 3 years due to never getting better at it.

Cyrillic isn’t that difficult to learn. The problem is the pronunciation which is like trying to spell things that you weren’t meant to spell, and the grammar isn’t easy either.
