to me, an indicator of mass violence and social upheaval is when normies will start to utter what were uttering right now. i expect it to happen 15-20+ years from now. Possibly a bit sooner than 10 years possibly a bit later than 20. But either way its gonna happen.
its best to save up now as much as you can, move to a mountainous rural area and stock up on food and ammo. learn to hunt, fish, and farm.
