I would like more copes irl but I'm scared that people will just be hostile towards me because I don't have the most pleasing face. That has been the consistent reaction to people seeing me and its been getting to me honestly :feelsrope:

I can relate. I even tried volunteering and I got discriminated against. The key is to just accept that you're going to be treated like shit for being ugly no matter what if you leave the house.

I like to take walks, it’s very peaceful and you get to be alone with your thoughts. You can take walks in the woods if you really want to avoid normies.

I may have to eventually accept that I'm going to be treated like shit because LDARing makes me want to paint my walls red

I might have to try this :)

Maybe try another volunteer place? Places vary a lot don't give up friend.
I volunteer and the people are incredibly nice to everyone. I got lucky. My jobs were brootal, but the place I go to is really nice to sub 5s.
Those places usually attract the kindest ppl

I would tell you to volunteer in reputable places. Meals on Wheels for example.

Find a board game club usually found in tcg/geek shops.

Religious places.

Did you try Meals on Wheels.
All female volunteer group never heard of such a thing that place is odd.
Don't let a bad place discourage you from trying elsewhere

i am too "scared" to get out of my house because i know exactly what will happen if i do

I have experienced this my whole life, it's a mixture of not having a pleasing face and being quite introverted. What irl activities were you thinking about?

Yes, I am not scared to leave the house as people make it seem, I am scared of what going out of the house will cause and the unnecessary abuse I will have to endure.

I religiously watch jiu jitsu content all day. It's a martial art that really interests me because it reminds me of chess

just do it, i tried hiking once

Yeah this type of treatment is nothing new, I get really anxious about it if I do ever have to step out the house and the things I experience constantly reinforce my anxiety

That would probably be a preferred place to be in as an irl activity. I doubt normies will make fun of you at jiu jitsu. In my opinion I would say give it a try, if you end up not enjoying it or people there are not behaving accordingly, then you don't have to go again, but you never know how it will be if you don't go.

May try enrolling eventually. Worst fear is pumping money into a gym to just get bullied and get nothing out of it :lul:

Hopefully they have an option to make a single payment first, rather than immediately in bulk
