I cannot talk for EU as a whole but my country unemployment rate is long-term around 5,5%. With no fears of mass lay-offs and hiring halts. If You are at least A-level and above education in tech field then you're quite set. You'll never get to those magical "six figures" You americans can get, but to get to median wage is doable. Economy is either stagnating with prospects on low growth or slowly growing with prospects of continuing trends. Trump tariffs are of course still worrying and it might impact our automotive industry. But I have to be honest, that industry has been dead in EU since at least 2020.

Would Trump stopped bitching about Greenland I might even say that He was blessing for EU. If nothing else there are at least talks of common defence with France and Germany showing they might have some pitiful semblance of spines still. But given how slowly it goes, Russian tanks might be in Warsaw before we get to see it's effects. We are finally at least nominally talking about rearming.

So basically, unless You are in one of those shit useless fields like SS or philosophy, things might not be great, but not terrible either. The company I work still has shitton of work, I got 7% raise this year, investing into company growth, more hiring, medical checkups paid by public insurance. Last moth I was 1 week on 100% paid days off because I was ill. And maybe EU might be still something relevant. Like I said, not great, not terrible.
