So, I just got the Benchmade SOCP dagger yesterday.
I think it’s a damn cool little knife.
First, it’s quick to deploy. You can just put your finger in the ring and pull it out fast.
That is crucial in a self defense situation.
Second, it’s one piece construction. So it would be rather strong despite its small size.
Third, it’s affordable. It’s only $130. Which is a bargain compared to other self defense knives.
The only negative thing I can say, is that it is not much of a utility knife.
About all it would be good for is defense.
It certainly will not chop wood for a camp fire, if you went camping.
