Returning to video games

I sold all my stuff exactly 5 years ago. Looking to get back to video games. Any recommendations what to get? Was thinking to buy an used console and jailbreak it. Not really interested in any online games anymore. Was thinking maybe PS3 or PS4... I barely played any of the games you would consider "must play" or masterpieces. I knew I would be Incel at age 25, that's why I saved them for now as a cope (jk...)

A mid range laptop should be enough to run most non-modern games. Get a good controller too and you're set

PS3 was the best, mine stopped working years ago but the games were the best. Skate 3 was my favourite
