Retrospective youtube videos are meant for people who don't actually play video games

These videos are made for redditors and in their 30's to busy raising Tyrone's kid to actually play video games. And the only reason they actually watch these video games is that they might have played video games once and are now slightly nostalgic for them.

The problem is a lot of the jewtubers making those kind of videos try to inject their quirky soydditor ironic humour into those vids, which instantly puts me off it. As you said, to appeal to redditors.

If they just stick to purely what's going on in the game, and don't talk like they're auditioning for the soy chugger comedy awards, then it's bearable to watch.

every time i watched one about a video game i really cared about, i noticed it was full of mistakes and inconsistencies

which made me decide they're all faggot shit, with the rare exception of a creator that specializes in like 1 single game franchise and nothing else

the field is too broad for a 'video game generalist' that knows what the fuck he's talking about, he's not born yet and might never be
