I like to think of IQ as the ability to speed read and speed write. Read the wrong books and shit's still fucked (but you can then course-correct with better material quickly later on). People explicitly or implicitly thinking high "IQ = factually correct" are surely wrong. I'd rather go with someone with legit credentials (meaning your knowledge and skill has been demonstrated and tested by a pool of experts and standards) on a topic and 108 IQ than an "autodidact" with wikipedia and 200 IQ who will shock and awe you with cool stuff until you realize they were poorly grounded several years later.
