Stephen Paddock, the worst mass-shooter in US history and a psychopath just like his bank robber father, enjoyed high social status throughout his life. He worked at the IRS and Lockheed Martin, and made tons of money in real estate in partnership with his brother, Eric (a malignant narcissist if there ever was one, and also a white collar criminal).
He last met his nephew, David, in Reno, Nevada during June of 2017, when the former was in town gambling
and the latter was in town attending a furry convention:
As a news article on the convention states:
"Reno has a reputation for having a libertarian philosophy, at least among the furry community. This likely plays a role in why BLFC has done so well in Reno. The concept of personal freedom is very important to the furry community, and Reno’s reflection of this ideal seems to draw attendees to the area."
In a soyciety where libertarianism is the cultural hegemony (valuing capitalism + cultural degeneracy), these "people" form the upper class.
You get a scenario where a rich, psychopathic uncle who is already plotting his mass-murder spree happens upon his psychopathic nephew (also rich considering how much money it costs to attend a convention), while both are engaged in their preferred pathology within the context of the greater Las Vegas area, which was founded by depraved gangsters and murderers to begin with.
