there's definitely a difference between having self-respect and taking every slight personally.

some people mistake being a doormat for being mature, while others think being angry at everything is strength. the healthy middle ground is standing up for yourself when it actually matters and letting the pointless stuff go.

if someone constantly disrespects you, walking away or calling it out isn't entitlement. it's just basic self-respect.
