In most games you can skip the cutscenes to play the missions if you've already seen them before, but in this game riding a horse and talking for 10 mins is an unskippable part of every single mission and it gets so fucking boring after the first playthrough. It's replayable in the sense you can choose different options or endings or choose to not care about honor, but you can really feel they make the game slow on purpose. Especially forcing you to walk in camp. I've given up looting bodies after shootouts because of how much time it takes.

It's basically an interactive movie. I played it and liked it, but it has zero replay value once you know how the story progresses. I could forgive the janky mechanics and god awful saving/loading, even the sjw horseshit sprinkled in. But man, if I'd paid full price for it I would've felt ripped off because it's literally impossible to enjoy a second playthrough

This is the actual appeal of GTA and RDR games. All retardcels have spent hundreds of hours in these games just going ER. The story is just a bonus. This is the sole reason I am looking forward to GTA 6, it will have a better sandbox to go ER in than the ones in GTA V and RDR2.

The map is massive and nice to explore. The game gives you a decent amount of tools to do interesting things with (lasso, dynamite, molotov cocktails, explosive ammo, trains, etc.), so it's fun to mess around in free roam. Don't care for the story at all, though.
