According to some theories, Romanians have similar language like other Roman languages i.e. French, Spanish and Italian. Romanians were called "Wołoch/Wołosi" (Wołoszczyzna), tbh I don't know the similarities between those words, now they are called "Rumun/Rumuni". I heard the theory they were looking for they roots in mid 19th century and they found roots in Ancient Rome and their language was transformed for sounding more Romanian like earlier mentioned languagesIs Wloch connected to Romania?
