The only thing in life that can give you happines is a good trad family.
But of course that doesn't exist in real life.

Short term pleasures like masturbation, food, weed and other drugs etc. only make you more miserable over time.

Happiness goes away when you get to know your wife well as a person and she starts to age visibly. The second possible source of happiness in such a case is watching your child grow and develop. If the child is good looking, intelligent and cheerful, the father will be proud of him or her, if not, he will feel like a failure. I'm guessing it's a similar feeling to what incels feel.
