I just don't play newer games, I don't have 2 to 3k so I can build a machine that will be obsolete in 5 years, because the newest nigger simulator movie game has come out, and you need to enable dlss and have 32gb of vram to go get 30fps at high settings.

Maybe because PS5 is an original version and their porting team shitted out lazy port. Should've been nixxes porting their game as most of their ports were perfect and only some has issues (Helldivers 2 and Ratchet but Ratchet got fixed after couple of patches)
TAA = always blurry mess and RT is just garbage looking uglier and lazier than games from 00s, Gaytracing, GI, PBR, photogrammetry plus speed tree (+name any other tech) made devs even more lazy as they can automate everything
those shit should be reserved for cgi/vfx in movies not game devs

Lack of motivation is a trucel trait. Still you should maybe clean it. Cleaning dust might help with temperatures and maybe the the sound as well, who knows. The fans might have some shit stuck in them causing odd noises.

I have 8gb rx6600. I managed to save 600 something euros after 2 months of wageslaving and I thought about getting a newer GPU. But I don't have much free time anyway.
I have a 7 year old gt1030
6gb 1660ti, works just fine as I don't play anything made after 2019 as it's all shit anyway along with the horrible optimization, and I OC for the few games I play that are shit optimized.

they outpriced me from the pc gaming, for past 2 decades pc gaming was all about mid end hardware that was cheap with sub $300 gpus and most of them did cost $200 (like amd 6850) and ran games really well on reasonable settings and framerate. But nowadays you need to go for $500 gpus or not able to run anything, you need to have at least 16gb of vram or play with blurry ass 2002 textures like it's deus ex 1.No matter which settings you pick games will be blurry thanks to the dogshit temporal AA you need to play at native 4k to combat that. So yeah time to spend $5k on pc to have same visual clarity of 2001-2019 games.
