For example I lost 3 grandparents when I was a kid. That's pretty heavy and also a clear sign of time passing.

Yet... I didn't really feel it because I didn't really understand what was going on.

Ignorance is bliss, I miss just being able to block out everything and play video games, without a care in the world.

Being aware has mentally crippled me tbh.
