Paradox games are too high IQ for me

I have a friend that really likes strategy games like Hearts of Iron and EUIV. Sometimes he's tried to teach me how to play it but it's impossible for me, too many menus, options and variables make it too hard and I end up getting tired of it kek. Games only for highiqcels

This is a genre that is best approached at a young age, when your mind is fresh and able to withstand the overload of info you need to memorize. When i was a teen i remember spending countless ours on games like Alpha Centauri. I tried it recently and it's like i never played it. My brain has rotted away due to age and stress.

^This. One of my favorites is Shogun 2. You should get that game, OP, very easy learning curve.
