It's not about religion or how hygienic they are, it's more about food. Northern curryland and paki foods are similar and those who eat, they smell the same.
We stink not because we don't shower. You need to stop showering for more than two weeks and stop doing laundry for more than 3 months to generate an effective stink. All curries generally shower regularly and we do regular laundry too. It's all about our food.

You actually get to very close (kissing distance) to get the smell. Body odor does not spread like fart. Most people who complain about curry BO are most probably sniffing curry farts. Curries can fart intermittently, and sometimes the curry-fart can be lethal and toxic.
They are prob talking about FOB’s. The only I know that smelled was straight from Nepal. The ones born here smell fine.
