sorry to hear that, try and get some support if you can from the local housing authority, contact your local shelter organisation, exhaust your options before sleeping on the street, were there's a will there's a way. I've lived in a domestic abusive household for a long time and I'm desperate to escape but it's very difficult as housing authorities priorities those in the most urgent circumstances.
The threat of Homelessness is exactly that, the housing authority have a priority to support you, it's even law for them to support you with if you can submit a request to them.
