It's censorship, plain and simple. Basically, when the mods see some comments they don't like, they remove them to push a certain narritive, and then eventually, they lock the comments so no one else can say their opinions. This would be fine if it happened rarely, but it happens so often. Yet another reason not to use reddit.

Also hate it when moderators on forums lock a thread as soon as a question has been answered. They have such a sad and pathetic life that they have to compensate by pretending to be important on an internet forum as a mod
