Yes if you want the NSFW scripts, voice chats and the advanced AI (meme), and even then it gets boring fast for most people.

Unbelievably, yes. The subreddit for it has 70k fucking members and some of the facebook groups are in the 10's of thousands too.

I'm glad these AI companies keep cucking themselves by trying to ignore the main thing people want from their fucking AI which is companionship and a way to get a sexual release/romantic roleplay. Eventually someone low inhib will come out with an affordable 'ERP' style AI that can just be self hosted and open source. You won't have to worry about any soys coming after you when it's running on your computer. The kicker is that for the type of roleplaying these replika users are looking to do you don't need something like chatgpt or even GPT3. The older shit is more than happy to say some really fucked up stuff to you and it's shit easy to run your own instance of it on a moderately powerful computer.
