This is my personal ramblings, it is not based on anything academic or scientific, just my thoughts.

In my view we can generally be divided into three stages of history (or really three different currently coexisting mindsets, the stages of history simply being when they were predominant).

The pre rational
this is before humans were taught to rationalize anything, before materialism existed (or at least was wide spread). Think of how in ancient Germania when they learned a tribesman was homosexual it was policy to kill them and throw them in a swamp.
The pre rational stage was best exemplified by idea that everything "simply was". And it worked. Women belonged to the men simply because that was how things worked with women being weaker. The King owned the Realm simply because he was "ordained by God", he just was. The church was the true faith simply because it was, you could not question this and did not question this. Heretics were to be killed, there was no protest for women's rights, outsiders like Muslims were the enemy, criminals would be punished with the most severity of the law. And things simply were this way for a long time, without much question or protest, things simply were.
I think the mindset behind this is simply to take things as they are, you see women are weaker and dumber than men and so they are, no question about the morality or science of their inferiority, you saw it and so it was true. There was no question of if the gates should be opened for the Muslims, they behaved like enemies so they simply were, you just took them for what you see. And things worked.
Even post enlightenment this mindset prevailed. Think of how in early America we would tried women for witchcraft simply because we did (and it worked, now our country is full of crazy bitches because we stopped), we executed people with mock trial simply for stealing horses, we conquered the red indians and called them savages simply because.....THEY WERE. We did what felt right to us, whatever we felt we should do, we did. The pre rational mindset believed in conquest and dominance simply because that was what was good for us, it's what we liked. Including racism. The races were segregated because we felt they should be, race mixing was banned because we felt it should be, nonwhite immigration was limited because we felt it should be, interracial crime was punished with lynchings because we felt like doing that. People functioned off of instincts and it worked well, this can be understood in hindsight as all of this behavior has ceased and along with it comes the subjugation of our race where we will now become a minority in our own countries. The white race is dying because of rationalism.

The rational
I believe that this is the stage where everything went wrong. Think of the boomer individualist and anti racist mindset. "Why should we be racist? Everyone's an individual!" "Why should we win? Doesn't that mean we make our enemies lose?" "Why should we preserve our nation, heritage, or race? Those are just ideas!" And with this mindset we have fallen. People were forced to rationalize and question every single basic human instinct they had. To bargain with themselves about what they see and think. "Okay black people are stabbing and robbing white people, but it's not all of them! Or, what if it's just socioeconomic factors?" "Okay immigrants are burning our cities down and fighting law enforcement, but we all bleed red!" "Is there any evidence that God exist? We are all just specs of dust floating in space!" It came with the rejection of ones own eyes or and instincts. Before rationalism we saw that blacks were stupid and violent and so they were kept separate from us, nowadays we see blacks are still stupid and violent and we are told to rationalize it. To claim even that "race doesn't exist" "genetics isn't real!" As if two black parents will ever pop out an east Asian baby, as if race is "just the color of our skin!" Despite the clear behavioral differences we observe.
99% of our ancestors were portrayed as stupid unenlightened bigots while we are the far more intelligent rational beings, despite the fact that they built paradise and we let it be torn apart in the name of mental masturbation, we sacrificed what the irrational mind built on our altar of diversity.
In essence, what was once accepted as simple truth such as "women are inferior" "blacks are violent" "Gays are disgusting" because it was plainly observed with the eyes and felt in the emotion, now required some sort of scientific or material evidence beyond easily observable reality in order to be considered true, which of course the (((establishment))) would now provide. And so everything that is true was called lies, and this is the era rationality. Examples of detrimental effects of rationality would be the acceptance of sexual degeneracy like transgenderism, incest, whoring, homosexuality, and race mixing. All of these would simply be dismissed as "gross" by pre rational men and their actors would be executed with extreme prejudice, it did not require reasoning because we simply didn't like it. Now in the rational world we are told about race mixing, homosexuality, and incest "as long as it doesn't hurt anybody!" Or "it's two consenting adults!" And with this rationality we are not allowed to punish societally and spiritually destructive behavior. Now our children are being castrated against the will of their father, and homosexuals are adopting little boys to molest them.

Post rational
This is the end result of the rational mindset, what it truly leads to. If the rational mindset was "why can't we be friends" boomers, the post rational mindset is blue haired feminist dykes and BLM. The post rational mindset is, similar to the pre rational mindset, completely irrational. It is just flipped on its head. The instincts have been reversed. To hate your own family, to hate your own nation, to hate your own race, to hate your own history. It is the suicide cult of wanting to lose, it is the antifa faggots who celebrate when a officer is killed, it's a millennial racecucks who cheer when a white man is beaten by a horde of nigger chimps for being "racist". This is the current state of the world. Examples of things springing from this are the kill all men movement, the "nihilist" who still scream and cry when you say the n word, the anti straights who call us "straggots". We have all seen them, "woke" or whatever you want to call it. They are the deformed bastard child of the rational mind, it's only possible conclusion. When we introduced the idea that everyone must be allowed to do as they please, that everyone can think whatever they want, that we must have an open marketplace of ideas, this is what it leads to.
The very idea that there would be fags calling for the death of all straight people, or women calling for the death of all men, was simply an unthinkable idea in the past. If you time traveled backward and tried to warn them, nobody would believe you.
Because these post rational ideas are completely irrational, just like the pre rational ideas. But instead of arriving from our simple instincts, they are the opposite, they are simply the natural order flipped on its head.

Conclusion
I would say that the pre rational mindset can today be characterized by Fascism, an attempted return to our past ideals of the tribe and conqueror. We will hate faggots simply because they disgust us, we will dominate women simply because they are weaker, we will drive out the foreigner simply because they are not us and are dangerous to our kin. No rationality is needed for this, although in today's world it must usually be provided anyways in order to break the Jewish mind spell.
The rational mindset is of course libertarianism and soft liberalism, and the post rational being the far left and extreme woke. Religiously I would say the pre rational is old paganism or Christian literalsim, the rational is agnosticism or soft Christianity, and the post rational is nihilism or new age wicca/crystal girls.

The reason I thought of this understanding is because this does seem to be the order of these ideologies summed up, though you can say the true pre rational ideology was absolute monarchist feudalism instead of fascism, fascism is an attempted return to the pre rational ideals and is the only realistic way to return to them. It does not always have to question, you can simply believe. Like with the occultism, or the traditional Christian theocracy, or with conspiracy theories or bigotry. You can call them crazy or simply untrue, but they are how the world worked for a long time and men were much better off this way.

In conclusion I think that rationalism was a mistake. We do not have to justify what we know to ourselves. When English people walk around London and see Muslims and niggers stabbing people, selling drugs, mass robbery, when they say they hate white people and want sharia law or revenge for colonialism. We do not have to bargain with ourselves if we are allowed to hate them or can kick them out. We should not be required to come up with scientific evidence as proof we are allowed to fight back. We simply should. We should do whatever our instincts tell us. And the human instinct is tribalism, is to defend your clan from the outsider.
Those who hate us will use the rational mind against us in their arguments. "What's your scientific evidence Muslim immigrants are more violent? You can't use anecdotes!". What they are really doing is telling us to deny the evidence of our own eyes and ears, to only use "rationality". To debate against ourselves our right to behave as we want.
"Why shouldn't our race go extinct? Who cares?" Was something a white person in the 1700s never thought of. They conquered the frontier because they knew it was right, because they felt like they should, and it worked out very well for them. They made prosperity and built the country they live in, they won because they allowed themselves to.

I first thought of this blah blah blah long ass explanation to the world when I was reading "templars of the proletariat" by dugin, where he sort of touched on these ideas. I thought it was a very interesting book.

I disagree with the idea that "men are rational" and "women are irrational". I think that was propaganda designed to destroy us while appealing to our language. "Look how superior you are to women! Like by being stronger than them, by being wiser than them, and by.....letting your country be raped in the name of rationality?" Those cuck generations of course would fall for this shit. It's garbage propaganda. Irrationality is actually masculine, it's the noble barbarian that conquers his enemy because he feels it is right, the viking that plunders the foreign land because he does not need to rationalize his behavior as "moral or fair". A man should not think about such things, empathizing with the out group is for the feminine. Rationality is a weakness for the race.

Tldr:
fuck faggots for making all these rationalist arguments. "Why is homo shit asshole sex wrong? It's two consenting adults!" "How is incest wrong? It doesn't hurt anybody!" "Why is transgenderism bad? It doesn't effect you!" "Why do you care about race mixing? Mind your own business!"
You can debate if they are correct or not but my point is that we shouldn't have to be "correct". We should simply enforce our instincts into will because we want to. Because that is what worked for us and when we lost
this, everything went to shit. Faggots are gross so we should ban it in essence, and with this mindset everything can be good again.

i am reading this it is very good. nice job man based post.

Very good classification of time periods. I think changes and transitions in collective temperament occur from changes in living conditions. When conditions are tough and brutal, people revert to their base instinctual state. As conditions improve, benevolence, need for rational justification and softer rhetoric grows to accommodate new and higher standards of civility, but then when conditions get too good with abundance, people return to their base and instinctual ways, but this time with more perversion.

Yep US prefers ‘rule-based world order’ and ideological domination over national hegemony

A white Marxist <<< an Indian neoliberal

Hyper-nationalism lost

I think a mix of pre-rationalism and rationalism is a sweet spot.

Otherwise one may say: The weaker and smaller you are, the less worth you are. Which backfires us Incels significantly.

In all times you were seen as less when you were unable to get a wife, some of us would still be cooked in these times and thus, seen as lesser than.

So a mix of "simply is" and "is this truly right" is important in my eyes. Neither of these points should step above the other and we must destroy every root that threatens to become too rational.

The NS called it "Anti-Intellectualism".

I would not say that the world used to work that way entirely unless you mean absolute cavemen, even in this case I believe they found evidence disabled/sickly ancient humans were taken care of. Families, communities, to some extent the nation took care of their own. I do disagree with Nazi policies on abortion (I think it's disgusting and wicked) while at the same time understanding that it was the simplest they could enact eugenics at the time.

Modern fascism should have ways to solve inceldom, I already wrote about that partially here

Skim read cos I already know it's true, you'll find more info by researching the transition from mythos to logos. It is equivalent of pre-rational to rational.

Sarkos for your post-rational, meaning flesh. Because once rationality has demolished all myth, it cannot restrain the body's impulses. Impulses unrestrained by myth tend towards chaos. And chaos tends towards kenos (nothingness).

Mythos, logos, sarkos, chaos, kenos.

true pre rational ideology was absolute monarchist feudalism
there is no true pre rational ideology because ideology is a product of reason. The mythic origin of social structure is more like nomadic pagan hunter bands. Absolutism and monarchism were only possible to even concieve of after monotheism had conquered society. Monotheism emerged at the same time as reason, the Axial Age. Feudalism was dependent on agriculture which was a product of reason. Anyway

There's levels to that shit though :feelstastyman:
Like how I mentioned early frontier America wasn't so bad

Did I mock you at all? I'm just responding to your point with a good faith critique and you feelstasty me. I won't bother to contribute.

Oh I see, I hate text. It's also a product of reason, talking in person is the ideal. Anyway, yeah, you did quote a large range of societies as your examples of prerational behaviour, I hope you will be able to work through the contradictions to achieve a purer truth.

If there are layers to it, a purer truth is at the core. A good framework for considering these historical layers is a revolution/counter-revolution dichotomy. Most plebeian right wingers are opposed to communist revolutions, if they maintained that counter-revolutionary ideal throughout all history they would also oppose the agricultural revolution, which implies opposition to feudalism due to their interconnected nature.

That they oppose the communist revolution but not the agricultural makes them a reactionary, not a pure counter-revolutionary. Food for thought :feelsokman:

nonwhite immigration was limited because we felt it should be,
In pre modern era immigration was mostly limited by transportation tech and the fact that there was no real benefit to it. You can say that immigration was more artificially limited in colonial times when the tech was there, allowing Europeans/Africans to immigrate to America. That doesn't mean immigration didn't happen but it was done to suite colonial economic purposes, like taking labour from one colony to another, which usually did not involve more labour force in Europe.

Another thing is that modern social security, middle class prosperity, peace and upward mobility did not really exist in the pre-WW2 West. ESPECIALLY the pre-socialism west of 19th century. There was little attraction.

But more importantly the economic conditions of the time did not require immigrant labour.
Before rationalism we saw that blacks were stupid and violent and so they were kept separate from us,

A little correction. Black people were not seggregated because they were violent and stupid. They were seggregated because they were black. To blame it on stupidity would actually be a rationalisation.

I disagree with this in its entirety. For example jefferson wrote
"I advance it therefore as a suspicion only, that the blacks, whether originally a distinct race, or made distinct by time and circumstances, are inferior to the whites in the endowments both of body and mind".
The American support for slavery, segregation, and whatever else you would call racism, was based in negroes being seen as lowly apes. Stupid, violent, incapable of being civilized, and uncultured.

As to saying "well that's rationalization!" You misunderstood my point, it's as if you did not read what I wrote. My issue is not that people have reasons to think things, it's that they reject what they actually think to be more "correct", it's that they actually ignore their reasons to think things. For example, and I believe I already stated this in the above paragraphs, when white people in the modern age look at the crime rates and low IQ of the nigger population they argue against themselves as to why it is okay, how it's just "socioeconomic factors" and how "race isn't real" because the establishment said so, and we just need to give them trillions of more dollars to fix it. When white people back in the day looked at the negro they accepted them at face value for what they were, which was lowly, backward, unintelligent, and barbaric. "Rationalism" as used in what I wrote does not mean "thinking something for a reason" but more so "refusing to take things at face value and instead requiring external material proof for everything to be allowed to think it, in rejection of your own eyes and ears."

I will say I don't like being around indians because they stink, a "rationalist" will ask "what's a study that proves they stink?" Despite the fact I walk around them all the time and they smell like shit. Then they will begin arguing with me about how I'm wrong based on a study saying indians "don't even actually exist" as if they can somehow change my mind after I've already experienced what I did.

Basically it's a denial of the basic things we understand just from observing our surroundings, we have to deny our own experiences, our own feelings, our own instincts, in turn for some sort of "rational objective truth" that's "proven by science". It's just retarded and gay. We don't have to "prove" why raping a little boy or opening up the gates to the invaders is wrong, we can just fucking kill you like 99% of our ancestors did :feelskek:
