1 packed cup of brown sugar.

1 pack of fast bread yeasts

and one week of fermentation time.

it's gdmf brutal tasting. Very grapey... But dang it's strong!

Put a half gallon of the Jews in a ferment vessel.

Add the brown sugar. When mixed well, add yeast

Mix on low speed so as not to hurt the yeast

(Mix well with a stainless steel mixer bit on a cordless drill/ mixer thingy)
...

Add the rest of jews to top of vessel. (There will be some left)

Yes, a ferment vessel with a bubbler air lock thingy. You can also use a loose lid and a weight. Or a paper towel. Or a condom with a tiny pinhole in it.

Many ways to make airlock.

Mead is easy. 3# honey per gallon. Tastes nice. Very similar to hard Apple cider

I use one gallons fermentation jars from Amazon. Cheap and easy to clean. Comes with a airlock.
