Back in school my friends dads would enrol them into extra curricular activities, help them study for exams, make sure homework’s getting completed etc, whilst mines didn’t even know what year I’m in. I still got higher grades than most of them with minimum effort but in the end they all surpassed me. I’d have preferred a stereotypical brown dad forcing me to be a doctor/engineer over a neglectful “chill” one.

In terms of skills he has taught me stuff about cars tools building etc.
