Title. Gaming has been devolving mechanically. Everything is being ultra simplified for fucking retards. Obviously this trend has been going on for years. Bethesda and Nintendo bragged about practicing it. But now it's gotten so bad that once skill based games like Monster Hunter have been completely botched with brainless cookie clicker mechanics.

It's nuts how much we've regressed. "QOL improvements " is a term I never want to hear again.
