I'm talking to Ukrainian recruiter/referral who's currently serving in the Ukrainian military. He's saying I can be a drone pilot under a one-year contract, I'd be paid $3000 USD a month which is an insanely high wage in my country, translates into $4k units of my local currency. The lethality rate for drone operators is very low, I've used A.I to examine my situation, given my attributes, the probability I'll return without any injuries within one year is between 75%-80%. The probability of minor injuries is 15-20%, and the probability of dying or facing extreme injury is only 5%.

I'm still worried some bureaucratic bullshit is going to get in the way but this may be the path to ascension. I'd be a registered badass if I actually do this.

No you cannot. Those jobs actually pay very high (thanks to minimum wage laws and employee benefit law) which means the only give them out to well connected people or people with experience. I tried for all three of those.
