I spoke with this guy a lot since 2018-2023. I went to school with him and we also played a lot of video games, also we both enjoyed similar metal bands.

He lost most his friends and tried to rope many years ago and I was one who didn’t turn my back on him.

After late 2023 I didn’t speak to him much. Also that year he got a new GF and fixed his social life.

I message him just to ask how he is doing and have some conversation. I was gonna to ask if he wanted to hangout. But yeah there’s no point because he takes the entire day to respond one message to me.

Overall it’s pointless trying to keep or maintain friends. It’s all for nothing.
