Hey guys, over the past year I've really started to get into MMA and BJJ as a form of coping. This started by watching the UFC where I noticed that some fighters are sub 5 (Raul Rosas / Chiwiwis for example). Is it possible to use combat sports to increase your appeal or atleast become a known person instead of a nobody that dosent do shit in life? Also MMA has been the only form of sport that I have ever liked, I dont really like soccer, football or basketball like normies usually do.

I recently joined an MMA class my school offers but a foid teaches it and it has been disapointing so far, we only learn kicks and throws, nothing else, no punches or grappling. I cant really last long during classes because I am overweight and gas out quickly. There are some females in the class but so far I've tried to avoid any interactions, wich is hard since we are required to find partners and change them every so often.

Toughts on this?

MMA is good cope for fun but nobody cares about it

It's good to know how to defend yourself, especially as an incel

Experiences with martial arts were strange at best. The format was always: go to a dojo, weird shit happens, am never taken back.

1. Unknown time in childhood, karate dojo where there was some fag instructor who was doing 1-on-1 with me, immediately started saying how if you don't do such and such your crotch will be wide open to get hit :feelssus:

2. Summer before starting of HS, was taken to BJJ dojo and expected to immediately start doing things with the kids way younger that me, was blamed for "not being cooperative" when I was just being thrust into chaos at random.

3. Sophomore year HS, another BJJ dojo, which also was so gay as I was literally having to entangle legs with other boys. I also had this insane paranoia in HS that "if you touch other people you are a molester" so the entire time I was nearly panicking because of that.

Autism life.

Thoughts on this?
I used to believe the same, that martial arts was cope. I did boxing for over a year to learn how to defend myself, but I would still get beat up brutally by my cohort.

I always hated how every martial arts category had rules. This lead me into a deep dive into the most effective form of martial art to use - no rules, defence.

I eventually came across Mad Dog Fist - created by Chen Hegao. This sparked my interest as it was the first actual natural and real self defence art I have seen without any man made rules for competition. The only issue I had with it was the legal side of things, if I was to implement the teachings into real life.
