Remember back when people were all like "Virtual girlfriends are the only salvation for the incel?" This was before AI took off like it has today. And look at what we have now.
I don't have an AI girlfriend or anything. But ever since I started using AI as a fun toy, I've been at a loss for things to make threads about. So I think it's in the same family of cope. Why don't I have things to talk about anymore? I dunno. It's not like I'm talking to AI about these things, it's not like AI is answering questions I'd make threads for.
Most of what I do is get it to imagine concepts for me. Or virtual worlds for me to browse. For example, maybe I wanna stew in my own misery at a late-night diner. I ho on Google Flow and ask for it.
I pay my tab...

Sometimes Flow has trouble understanding implicit instructions, so you have to be a little clearer about what you want...
Then I start exploring the larger world Flow has created.
Flow can't remember anything beyond the turn you're currently on, but it's good enough for me.
