The XP and 7 days were nice. Back when Windows just behaved.

Mint is fairly easy to use especially if you choose hardware that it's OK with.

windows behaves for me cuz i shut it down every night before bed, and if there is a pending update it says update and shutdown, so it never really pesters me for updates and there is a thing u can download called winshutup i think and that can disable a lot of the spy stuff supposedly

I still find updates like that kind of pushy, you know?

For example on my Linux Mint... other than if there was a technical problem I could leave it running for decades and I don't think it would even give me a notification let alone an update or anything, unless I wanted it to.

It's odd really how little support there is for macOS (in the poll, I mean).

Maybe it's because of the hardware really. Maybe if it ran on any machine like Windows does it would win.

I just LDAR and play video games. No need for me to use anything other than windows.

I mean, from my POV... I prefer Linux. but I wanna play Roblox. XD

So my plan is to have two machines - a linux machine for most things, and a mac for Roblox. ^_^

And then I can apparently use a kvm switch to quickly switch peripherals between them as needed.

It's a lot of hardware but... it means I keep control over things! and it's not like I have any games consoles anyway.
