Being high-inhib is gross and embarassing. I've always wanted to make a post expressing my disdain with having been born into a family that is high-inhib, and how much I wish that I was simply more assertive and outgoing—I just never got around to it, nor do I even really know how I would word it.

I've tried in part to largely separate myself from my high inhibition, and I think it somewhat worked...? I couldn't really tell you, since I've done quite a few things instinctively that were extremely low-inhib, and only realized and felt mortified about it much later when I dwelled on them. One such example would be the time I intentionally slammed a door shut in front of two teenage uteroids' faces instead of holding the door open for them, LMAO.

I think there's probably a certain balance that is optimal—you never want to be low-inhib enough to the point where you act like a nigger and get yourself killed, but you also don't want to be high-inhib enough that you come off as timid or close yourself off from opportunity. It's tiring having to think about it all, really...
